The path to remembering love takes many forms. Benjamin Mee is recently widowed. His son is expelled from school and he is feeling a strong call to wake up from a humdrum life. The Holy Spirit answers the call in the orchestration of a beautiful dream house with one catch—the house comes with a zoo.

 

This is a helpful demonstration of how the Holy Spirit uses what is attractive to the ego (a dream house) combined with something unexpected (a zoo). The unexpected becomes the speed up to awakening as it quickly reveals the impossibility of the ego's plan to control and figure things out. This is the opening to the help that can be provided by Spirit. Through this attraction, it can be seen that all that comes to us is through our choice and desire.

 

"It is impossible that anything should come to me unbidden by myself. Even in this world, it is I who rule my destiny. What happens is what I desire." (W-253.1)

 

Through the desire to remember love, this new opportunity exposes Benjamin's tumultuous relationship with his son to the truth of light and joy. New and exciting collaborations extend joy as love is shared with everyone!
