James, this movie's main character, has reached a low point in his life. He feels desperate and alone after the tragic death of his wife and loss of custody of his daughter. Unable to hold down a job and in hope of making some fast money, he accepts a cargo delivery job from Mexico to the United States. En route he discovers that his "cargo" is actually two young Mexican sisters in need of help.

 

Now what is he to do? James, though still unaware of it, has received an answer to his deepest prayer. His willingness to respond with a "Yes" to the assignment results in him being given some mighty companions and an important function that will take him out of his depression and loneliness by being of service to others.

 

We simply cannot judge anything that is occurring when we've put out the call for help. James' determination and persistence in taking each step as it is given to him results in unexpected miracles and helping hands all along the way. All things are working together for good—no exceptions. In the end, it was all to open the heart to love!
