This movie offers us a new way of perceiving relationships. In this world, relationships are used by the ego as a ‘getting’ mechanism. The relationship between John Lennon and Yoko Ono is very collaborative and loving, and Jesus is going to use their love story for the benefit of the whole universe.
John and Yoko have come together with a feeling inside for something greater, a desire for peace to come into awareness. That's where the spiritual journey starts for everyone. You feel a sense of wanting peace and wanting to offer your helpfulness. You have a contribution to make in the plan of awakening.
Jesus is telling us in the Course, “The lonely journey fails, because it excludes the one that it would find.” T-14.X.10:7 He means that your temple and the temple of the Holy Spirit is not the body, which can be quite individual and separate and autonomous. He says, “The temple of the Holy Spirit is your relationship.” T-20.VI.5.
John and Yoko open up their home to collaborate with others. This is a demonstration of the collaborative aspect of the miracle! You will feel the joyful collaboration in this movie. And with collaboration comes healing. You will see John and Yoko talk with their friends, discuss, share ideas, and face whatever they have to face in terms of their own internal resistance and doubts. Everyone is showing up to play their part and eventually this amazing song comes through, “Imagine,” which was voted song of the century.
This movie shows how collaboration, music and relationships are a fast track for awakening!
