What are thoughts? How does my mind work? In the state of the sleeping—deceived mind—there are two kinds of thoughts: real and unreal. In the core of your mind, you have real thoughts. They are abstract. They are extensions of Source. They are your bright essence. They spring from Love. You are a thought in the mind of God and your real thoughts extend this. Surrounding those thoughts is a bunch of monkey-mind thoughts. These are ego-based thoughts. They are not real! They have no source. They are thoughts about the past or the future and they keep you distracted in a spinning wheel of changing perception. You are a thought in the mind of God but this world was made to hide that. Ego attack thoughts spring from false beliefs. The five levels of mind are: desire, belief, thought, emotion, and perception. The ego is a belief, and this is where forgiveness can intercede in order to change all of the outer layers. “Everything on the inside is causative, and everything on the outside is an effect of the core. So if the core is tainted—if the alter is defiled—then the belief is tainted with ego; the thoughts are attack thoughts and the emotions are derivatives of fear: fear, jealousy, envy, guilt, shame. There can be a range of seeming different emotions but they are all the same. Perception is a result of everything underneath it.” Fear drives the perceptual world when the ego-belief is in place. But you can question that belief. If your desire is to heal, the ego belief is challenged and then disappears. You have a desire to be whole, to know God, and to be free from an illusion. You desire truth. Forgiveness is the way out. When you use forgiveness due to your desire to heal, your thoughts are real thoughts. Emotions become loving. The perceptual world becomes the happy dream.
