Let your hair down and escape the prison you have made! If you have the courage to follow your heart, the Spirit will send in characters to help you break free from this world. People-pleasing, or in this case mother pleasing, holds the main character back from her calling. Rapunzel has been living a lie. She must learn to see that she has projected her fear onto her mother and then take her steps regardless of outcome. She feels an inner calling to extend, shine, explore and join, yet the voice of the ego warns her against ever venturing outside of her ivory tower.

 

Year after year she is prompted to find out why thousands of lit lanterns fly up into the night sky, intuitively aware there is a deeper meaning that could reveal her true identity. When she makes the leap of faith, unlikely mighty companions show up to help her to face issues of trust, abandonment, and the undoing of the mother-daughter concept. Her desire to experience life, to know the truth, and to open her heart to love inspires those around her to get in touch with their own hearts’ desire.
