Ira needs a miracle. He is unhappy; bound by uncertainty, unable to make decisions or complete his college dissertation and in a general state of confusion. Dumped by his therapist who suggested he “get unstuck and try something else,” he follows an inner prompt to enter a health club where the poster in the window asks, “What are you waiting for?”
Enter Abby, a free happy spirit who is in love with everyone and everything. When the two hit it off, they spontaneously decide to take a chance on love, and get married. What follows is a hilarious romp through the minefield of the special love relationship, as jealousy, expectations, unworthiness, lack of trust and doubt are flushed up to be seen and healed.
This delightful film is a ride from special to holy relationship as the couple finally make the choice for what is real—a present love, free of the roles and expectations of worldly relationships. I love you now is the only true wedding vow, and is much cause for celebration!
