The Ego's Plan for You Is to Get Sick and Die. Don't Do It!

In this world, the ego uses the body for many many things. If you follow the ego's plan, you will seem to get sick and die and have a pretty rough life. If it was a computer, the body would have the default settings of sickness and death. But, the Holy Spirit offers an alternative to the belief in death. The Holy Spirit has only one purpose for the body. The Holy Spirit uses the body as a communication device to expand your perception all the way to forgiveness. “Forgiveness is a big blanket that goes across the whole world, seeing the world without judgment. I had to let go of my career pursuits and my education pursuits. To begin the process of undoing the ego, and unlearning everything you think you know. Before everything was about learning, now everything is about unlearning. Before everything was about making something happen, now it’s really about surrender. Not thinking that you know what anything is for. The guidance of the Spirit can direct you. Your life becomes easier and easier and easier. It’s not like you have to figure out how to solve problems in the world. It’s more letting go of the thought that you can control the world in any way.” Your emotions show you exactly how it is going. Do you feel peaceful? Loving? Does your heart feel wide open? You are tuned in to the Holy Spirit. Do you feel contracted and anxious, analyzing your every move? You are listening to the ego. In  A Course in Miracles, Jesus teaches: “When you have learned how to decide with God, all decisions become as easy and as right as breathing. There is no effort, and you will be lead as gently as if you were being carried down a quiet path in summer.” T-14.IV.6 Surrender into this ease. In stillness, know that you are the answer to every problem in this seeming world. The complexities of the world are mere illusion. You need not be concerned about the world's seeming problems. Allow yourself to be carried along in the presence of Love. A Course In Miracles
