It's Your Lesson

When confronted with difficult people and difficult situations, it is helpful to remember, “It’s your lesson.” Part of the problem is situational thinking. You can never bring peace into situations. God is abstract love and light and does not create situations. Truth is Oneness and situations are the illusion. We need to hand everything over to the Spirit. These are not people, these are thoughts. If there seems to be a nagging thought in your mind that doesn’t seem to go away, it’s because you don’t want it to go away. There is a sick attraction to it. Working with the Course you realize that there is an attraction there which needs to be uncovered. You cannot bring the truth into the illusion. Just bring the illusions of the ego to the light in your mind and watch how quickly it disappears. A Course In Miracles
