Her Love for God and her simple discovery that holiness can be achieved by small acts of love and compassion became Thérèse’s spiritual path, which became known as the Little Way. It was Thérèse’s simplicity and gentleness that inspired Mother Teresa to take her name and adopt the Little Way as her own. Although the belief in sacrifice is prevalent throughout this film, it is worth watching. The simple lesson that Thérèse learns and teaches is that you cannot prove your worth through “doing.” Loving God and being who you are is the only gift that you have to give—and it is enough.
Movies are an excellent way to watch your mind, to pay attention to your emotions, and to help you discover your unconscious beliefs.
