The only way to keep a secret is through deception and masks. Nothing is as it seems, and there is nothing to fear but our own made up prisons that keep us in an illusion of safety. Covington is a small, isolated Pennsylvania village whose residents live in fear of nameless creatures in the surrounding woods. They constantly keep watch for "those we do not speak of". There is a long-standing truce with the monsters: the villagers do not go into their woods and the creatures do not enter their village. Yet there is a dark secret that the elders do not want revealed.
This movie shows how false perception can seem real yet must be seen through. Security lies not in special groups, or safe communities, but in unlocking the box of secrets (protected thoughts of the ego) to see their nothingness. There is no need for deception, or fear of those we do not speak of in the Spirit led path to innocence. Trust that your calling can lead you to Truth.
