Sucker Punch Spiritual Movie Review

"The world of perception, is the world of time, of change, of beginnings and endings. It is based on interpretation, not on facts. It is the world of birth and death, founded on the belief in scarcity, loss, separation and death. It is learned rather than given, selective in its perceptual emphases, unstable in its functioning, and inaccurate in its interpretations Our sense of inadequacy, weakness and incompletion comes from the strong investment in the ‘scarcity principle’ that governs the whole world of illusions. From that point of view, we seek in others what we feel is wanting in ourselves. We ‘love’ another in order to get something ourselves." (From the Preface of "A Course in Miracles")
The world is a simultaneous out-picturing of what thoughts and beliefs are in the mind. You need to forget the external world and get so into the dance that you no longer are aware of an objective world, but you come inside to hear the clear and specific instructions for the way out—the way to freedom. Then you seem to come back to the world only to carry out the guidance you have received. This movie is a remarkable parable of the spiritual journey!
Gather your mighty companions and let everyone do their part in a great collaboration; see that whatever one lacks is provided by another. In the end you need to overcome the one belief in sacrifice and lack that is underneath all other beliefs. It is actually behind the making of this world. When you see you are not a body, and unaffected by what seems to be done to the body, you experience complete freedom!
