Peace, Love & Misunderstanding

 

All everyone really wants is to know innocence and love. Open-mindedness is the recognition that gratitude is the only appropriate response to a brother because of Who he is. All things are equally acceptable to the open minded because all things are working together for good. The mind that judges is doing so as a justification of its failure to forgive. Jealousy arises from judgment and misperception. Blame is never justified. Forgiveness leads to happiness and the acceptance of what is given, whereas holding onto the past, and the desire to be right is a defense against present happiness and freedom. A shift in perception is all that is required to see things differently. Love waits upon welcome and is only ever a decision away.

 

In this film, Grace is a symbol of open-mindedness, non-judgment, and acceptance. She is always pointing to forgiveness and supporting everyone around her to open their hearts and minds. Opinions and judgments are really self-attack. They are a defense against love, and they fall away in the recognition that there is only ever love being extended, or a call for love being expressed.
