The deeper you go on the spiritual journey, there are less specifics to hang on to. The journey gets more and more abstract, leading you into a deepening trust in Spirit.
The magicians in this movie are successful, yet dissatisfied with the human condition. Then they each receive a card and intuitively know what it means. This is symbolic of hearing the call. We may not know the specifics, but we know that this is a call to something higher than we can imagine.
The magicians join together, feeling in their hearts that they are stepping into the unknown. They sense that something greater is guiding them. Every step of the way they are called to collaborate closely together; disputes are resolved swiftly, not one decision is made separately. The focus is on the inspiration, and as they go forward the way becomes clear.
The deeper you go on the spiritual journey, the more you realize that no one really has a clue what is actually going on. You must experience it for yourself. You start to see that all the worries, doubts and fears; everything that came before, was nothing, had no meaning, and was just a trick. We are being taken up into a great “Ah ha!” experience.
