Having the willingness to have faith is the first step in this story about overcoming the fear of opening to the miracle and living in the present. Despite his best attempts to be unfriendly and isolated, Henry Poole’s insistently helpful and loving neighbors refuse to be put off. As he opens up and begins to accept the love that is offered, forgiveness and miracles light the way. Where once he believed his life was over he now sees that it has only just begun.
