Defenselessness and nonviolence are attributes of love. Love, reflected in this world, has the power to heal all division, for separateness is the illusion. It takes determination and persistence, but for those who stay the course and transcend all obstacles, inner peace is the reward. You can see it shining in the eyes of the peaceful, and radiating in their smiles. And most of all, those who follow the path of peace become wise and wholly gentle, for they live in the heart of God.
