God’s calling to us is very simple: to be happy right now. The ego wants to detract from present happiness by attempting to activate the past, organize the present, and plan for the future.

In this movie, Apostle Peter is feeling pressure ten years after Jesus’ death to “do something” to grow the church. Mother Mary is the Christ presence reminding Peter that all he need do is “rest in the divine stillness.” It’s not about doing something, establishing something or producing something, it’s about the remembrance of God through listening and following. The only remaining question is, “Do I feel worthy enough to be still?”
