Love and faith have the power to inspire miracles, even when all seems lost. Winter is a dolphin whose tail was damaged to the point of having to be removed. Eleven-year-old Sawyer is there on the beach when she is found stranded. His gentle, loving presence is the only thing that she can connect with after she loses her tail and her will to live. Sawyer cannot function in the world very well until his relationship with Winter opens up a whole new world for him. Their connection inspires everyone around them to give from the heart, which leads to miracles of love and healing.
