A man is given a universal remote control that can speed up or eliminate undesirable life situations. He attempts to use it for the ego’s purposes until he realizes that the Spirit has no need to control time. Slow down and remember that any attempt to bypass or avoid certain feelings or situations is just a delaying maneuver by the ego. It leads to continued distraction and eventual isolation. The momentum of pleasure- seeking and pain avoidance need not be. As we accept everything that is given for the healing of the mind, time is given over to the Spirit for Its purpose. Joy is the result.
