The first lesson of "A Course in Miracles" is, “Nothing I see means anything.” (W-1) Things are not what they seem. There is no accumulated learning. There are no people ahead, no people behind.

ACIM teaches us: Do not correct a brother because our brother is the Christ. Forgiveness does not gauge an error first and then forgive it. Forgiveness means you cannot meaningfully interpret anyone’s behavior. You were not created with that ability. The behavior being generated is from a false world.

There is a healing power in not seeing error. It is not that you should stop judging, it is that you never had one single interpretation that was real. You were just mistaken about all of it. Nothing is as it seems. Do not even try to figure it out, just eat the apple pie in the end.

Movies are an excellent way to watch your mind, to pay attention to your emotions, and to help you discover your unconscious beliefs.
