Am I Really Sustained by God?
That is our opportunity to finally come to a place of surrender where you actually say ‘yes.’ Big 'YES!!'
How can I know that I am sustained by God? It helps, when venturing into something that seems unknown, to hear from those who have taken the leap before you. David Hoffmeister shares that the journey into divine providence is one of trust, which means letting go of all “plan Bs,” truly giving yourself and your life over to the Spirit’s Plan, and allowing yourself to be sustained by Love; sustained by God!
“Holy Spirit has to really convince us to open up to the big 'Yes,' the big, 'Yes, I will forgive. Yes, I will release attack thoughts, and grievances, and illusions from my mind. Yes, I will surrender this authority problem of thinking I can make myself anyway I want to be, and I will come back to the humble position of ‘I am as God created me,' (W-110) and that I am an eternal creation of a loving God. That would be the big 'Yes!' So, all of time, you might say, every second, is your opportunity to say ‘Yes.’ And as long as you say ‘No,’ then the illusion of linear time continues. It’s just, 'No, no, not quite now, no, not yet, not yet, not yet, not yet.' Every second on a clock that ticks away is a ‘not yet.’ Are you ready to know that you are One with God? Are you ready to know that you have dominion over the world; that you are not at the mercy of the world; that you are not a victim of the world? 'Not yet, not yet, not yet, not yet.' Seconds ticking away!
