The 2 Popes.

Pope Benedict XVI has been hearing Francis' name for a while but had a hard time admitting it because he did not want his ideals to give way to a more inclusive church. Upon meeting with the future Pope Francis however, their relationship stems his fears and confirms that Jesus has a plan for everyone. Witty and delightful, Anthony Hopkins brings heart to a crusty persona while Jonathan Pryce captures the new Popes' purpose beautifully.  

Their encounter is an expression session for Benedict's weakness around the church's pedophile problems and an opportunity for Francis to let go of old unworthiness. Both leave the encounter blessed and we are left with the real church - a holy relationship. 

The 2 Popes is a fantastic movie that deals with relationships, theory vs. experience, and God's will that everyone takes their place in the role that was assigned to them.
