In "Meet the Parents," it is time for Gaylord’s fiancé and her family to meet Gaylord’s parents. Although the people-pleasing has lessened a little, Gaylord continues to compromise in an attempt to make his parents appear normal and acceptable to his judgmental future father-in-law. There are lessons in trust for both Gaylord and his father-in-law. Their attempts to keep private thoughts wreak havoc throughout the weekend until they both realize the importance of honesty and extending what they wish to receive.
